Edinburg – Marilyn J. Oller, 84 of Edinburg, IL passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at John’s Hospital Springfield, IL.

Marilyn was born December 6,1932 in Taylorville, IL, a daughter of Donald Byford and Alberta Laura (Abel) Allen. She graduated in 1952  from Edinburg High School in Edinburg, IL. Marilyn married Clifford E. Oller December 12, 1952 in Edinburg, IL.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, IL and was an avid horseback rider and lover.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Clifford E. Oller of Edinburg, IL, a daughter Terri (Steve) Beckham of Edinburg, IL and a son Brian (Tabitha) Oller of Edinburg, IL, 4 grandchildren, Jared (Jill) Beckham, Seth (Danielle) Beckham, Noah and Cambelle Oller, 3 great grandchildren, Taylor, Reese and Chase Beckham, a sister, Wilma (Buddy) Daniels of Edinburg, IL, and several nieces. Preceding in death were her parents, and brothers, Larry and Dwayne Allen.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday February 7, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, IL, funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. with Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery Sharpsburg, IL. Pallbearers: Noah Oller, Steve Beckham, Jared Beckham, Seth Beckham, Bill Ferry and Steve Parn.   5. Words can’t seem to express how sorry I am for the loss of Marilyn! She was loved by so many of us as if she were our family too! She always made me feel loved and welcomed into her family and life. She will be truly missed by all.
