  1. Don made the most of every moment God gave him. He was so good to so many. It wasn’t work—it was just in his heart & soul . What a blessing he was to the Virden community.

We have missed visiting ( & sharing lots of laughs ) at the annual Brandt Event.

Praying for you..& wishing you peace.

  2. Sending thoughts and Prayers to the Burris family. Don was the best bus driver. I would always pick his bus to ride. He drove us all over. My Greatest ride was my Jr. Year of High School. He drove 17 of us with Mrs. McNaught to Chestnut Ski Resort, Galeana,I’ll. Best trip ever and Donnie and I were roomys, being we were the only 2 guys on the bus. From class trips to Swim lessons in Carlinville, to ALL our Sports events , chorus singing contest. Donnie will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest in Peace my BUS DRIVER . May the Burris Family feal all the Love , Support and Prayers to you ALL.

  6. We know Don is celebrating in heaven with many loved ones. He is free of all pain. Our hearts hurt for the many loved ones left behind. We ask God to provide His comfort for each one. We ask for wisdom and strength for those making decisions. We pray for Helen and the “kids” and grandkids as they travel the road of letting go and gathering rich memories and living lives celebrating the legacy of Don Burris.

  7. Don was a wonderful christian man. He always had candy in his pocket for the children at church and a smile for all. He will greatly be missed.
