Virden – David L. Enrietta, 68 of Virden, IL passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center Springfield, IL.

David was born August 29, 1950 in Springfield, IL, a son of Frank and Isabell (Ovington) Enrietta. He was a 1968 graduate of Virden High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. David married Mary Kay Blankenship September 12, 1980 in Virden, IL. He worked as a warehouseman for Altorfer in Springfield, IL for over 35 years.

Surviving David is his wife Mary Kay Enrietta of Virden, IL, daughter, Mary Jane Enrietta of Virden, IL, sons, Tony (Jen) Enrietta of Carlinville, IL, Justin Enrietta of Virden, IL, and Nick Enrietta of Girard, IL, grandchildren, Maggie (Bryan)Huff, David, Cash, Jacqueline, Presley and Lennon Enrietta, great grandchildren, Isabella, Bentley and Dylan Huff, sister, Marilyn Croft of Springfield, IL and a brother, Larry Enrietta of Chatham, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday November 1, 2018 at Calvert & Ferry Funeral Home Virden, IL, with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday November 2, 2018 at the funeral home. Rev. John Huxtable officiating. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris Blankenship, Jason Blankenship, Bryan Huff, Gary “Tudsie” Marsaglia, Jake Marsaglia and Dale Proefrock.
