Virden – Anna M. Kiel, 66 of Virden, IL, passed away Monday October 14, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL, surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born January 31, 1953 in Champaign, IL, a daughter of John and Mona (Oakley) Kiel. She was a 1973 graduate of Virden High School. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church Virden, IL, and formerly worked at Doctor’s Hospital in Springfield, IL and retired from Memorial Health System in Springfield, IL.

Anna is survived by her sisters, Linda Lau of Thayer, IL, Wanda Samuelson of Chatham, IL, Connie Twyman of Carlinville, IL, Mary Wallace of Carrollton, IL, and Chris (Butch) Pierce of Auburn, IL, brothers, Roy Kiel of Litchfield, IL, Larry (Paula) Kiel of Auburn, IL, Bernie (Cindy) Kiel of Virden, IL, and Rick (Beth) Kiel of Hamel, IL, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Preceding in death were her parents, sisters, Darlene and Ella Kiel, brother, Vernon Kiel.

There will be no visitation, graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday October 17, 2019 at Virden Cemetery Virden, IL. Mr. Mike Hawkins officiating. Pallbearers: Bruce Kiel, Josh Kiel, Nathan Lair,
